With manual TIG brazing the brazing alloy is usually fed into the arc similar to autogenous brazing with a rod. With automatic TIG brazing the Copper alloys are wires like for MIG welding, or so-called cold wires. Usually a continuous arc is applied. Flat- and vertical down positions should be preferred. Special requirements to the brazing equipment All commonly available TIG-DC power sources can be used. Pulsed arc machines are not necessary. For most applications currents of 20-150 A are sufficient. For automatic welding a cold wire feeder is required.
