    4316 308LSi ML 19.9 LSi is a solid stainless steel MIG/TIG filler metal (EN ISO 14343-A G 19 9 L Si, DIN 1.4316, AWS ER308LSi) for welding austenitic Cr-Ni steels such as 304, 304L, 321 and similar grades, as well as Cr steels up to 19 % Cr. Its low carbon content and balanced 19/9 alloy design provide good resistance to general and intergranular corrosion, while typical mechanical properties of about Rp0.2 = 390 MPa, Rm = 600 MPa and A = 42 % at 20 °C, with high impact toughness down to −196 °C, support both ambient and cryogenic service. The wire/rod is suitable for service temperatures up to approx. 350 °C, and is used in tank and apparatus construction, pipework, food and beverage equipment and general stainless fabrications. It is welded with DC electrode positive in MIG and DC electrode negative in TIG, using standard argon-based shielding gases, and supplied as solid MIG wires (0.8–1.2 mm on BS-300 spools or ECO-drums) and TIG rods (1.0–4.0 mm, 1000 mm length, 5 kg boxes).

    4332 309LSi ML 23.12 LSi is a solid stainless steel MIG/MAG and TIG filler metal (mat. no. 1.4332, EN ISO 14343-A G 23 12 L Si / W 23 12 L Si, AWS ER309LSi) designed for welding dissimilar joints between austenitic stainless steels and unalloyed or low-alloy steels, as well as for buffer layers and corrosion-resistant claddings. Its low-carbon 23/12 Cr-Ni composition with increased Si content gives smooth bead appearance, stable arc characteristics and very good wetting, while offering high strength (typical yield strength around 400 MPa, tensile strength about 600 MPa), good elongation and reliable impact toughness down to sub-zero temperatures. The filler metal provides good resistance to general and intergranular corrosion and is typically used for transition joints, overlay welding and repair work in chemical and petrochemical plant, tank and apparatus construction, pipelines and general stainless fabrication. It is welded with DC electrode positive in MIG and DC electrode negative in TIG using argon-based shielding gases. ML 23.12 LSi is supplied as solid MIG wires in diameters 1.0 and 1.2 mm on BS-300 15 kg spools and 250 kg drums, and as TIG rods in diameters 1.6–3.2 mm, 1000 mm length, packed in 5 kg boxes.

    4337 312 ML 29.9 is a solid stainless steel MIG/MAG and TIG filler metal (EN ISO 14343-A G 29 9, mat. no. 1.4337, AWS ER312) with a ferritic–austenitic Cr-Ni composition of approx. 30.5 % Cr and 9.2 % Ni, low carbon and elevated Mn. It is designed for joining and cladding identical or similar stainless steels and cast steels, for tough joints on un- and low-alloy structural steels of higher strength, manganese steels and CrNiMn steels, and for dissimilar joints between stainless or heat-resistant steels and carbon/low-alloy steels. The filler metal offers good resistance to wet corrosion up to about 300 °C, very good resistance to hot cracking and good toughness at high yield strength (typical Rp0.2 ≈ 500 MPa, Rm ≈ 750 MPa, A ≈ 20 %, impact energy ≈ 25 J at 20 °C). It is welded in MIG with argon-based shielding gas mixtures (Ar/O₂, Ar/CO₂, Ar/He combinations) on DC electrode positive, and in TIG with Ar or He mixtures (optionally with small H₂ additions) on DC electrode negative. ML 29.9 is available as MIG wires in 0.8, 1.0 and 1.2 mm on BS-300 15 kg spools and 250 kg ECO-drums, and as TIG rods from 1.0 to 4.0 mm diameter in 1,000 mm length, packed in 5 kg boxes.

  • 4370 307 ML 18.8 Mn

    4370 307 ML 18.8 Mn is a solid stainless steel MIG/MAG and TIG filler metal (EN ISO 14343-A G 18 8 Mn, mat. no. 1.4370, AWS ER307) with approx. 18 % Cr, 8 % Ni and 7 % Mn, designed for joining work-hardenable steels, armour plate, austenitic Mn steels and free-machining steels, as well as for overlay welding of carbon and low-alloy steels. The high Mn content and austenitic structure provide very good toughness (impact energy around 140 J at 20 °C), high strength (Rp0.2 ≈ 460 MPa, Rm ≈ 650 MPa, A ≈ 41 %) and good crack resistance while matching the corrosion resistance of the respective parent metal. Typical applications include automotive components, wear- and impact-loaded parts and buffer layers on un- and low-alloy substrates. The wire is welded with DC electrode positive in MIG and DC electrode negative in TIG, using argon-based shielding gases with small additions of O₂, CO₂, He and optionally H₂, and is supplied as MIG wires (0.8–1.2 mm on BS-300 spools or ECO-drums) and TIG rods (1.0–4.0 mm, 1000 mm length, 5 kg boxes).

    4430 316LSi ML 19.12.3 LSi is a solid stainless steel MIG/MAG and TIG filler metal (mat. no. 1.4430, EN ISO 14343-A G 19 12 3 L Si, AWS ER316LSi) for welding austenitic CrNiMo steels of the 17/12/2–3 type, such as 1.4401, 1.4404, 1.4571 and similar grades, as well as for corrosion-resistant overlay welding on un- and low-alloy steels. The low carbon content combined with Mo provides very good general and intergranular corrosion resistance and a high resistance to pitting in chloride-containing environments. Typical mechanical properties are around Rp0.2 ≈ 400 MPa and Rm ≈ 610 MPa with ≈ 37 % elongation and high impact toughness (≈ 130 J at 20 °C, ≈ 50 J at −196 °C), making the wire suitable for both ambient and cryogenic service up to operating temperatures of about 350 °C. Typical applications include chemical and petrochemical plant, food and beverage equipment, pharmaceutical installations, tanks, piping and general stainless fabrications. The product is used with DC electrode positive in MIG/MAG and DC electrode negative in TIG, with argon-based shielding gases, and is available as solid wire and TIG rods in common diameters for manual and automated welding.

    4462 2209 ML 22.9.3 NL is a solid duplex stainless steel MIG/MAG and TIG filler metal (material no. 1.4462, EN ISO 14343-A G 22 9 3 N L, AWS ER2209) for welding duplex stainless steels such as 1.4417, 1.4462 and 1.4362. With a typical composition of max. 0.020 % C, 0.50 % Si, 1.6 % Mn, 23 % Cr, 9 % Ni, 3.2 % Mo and 0.16 % N, the wire combines high strength with very good resistance to intergranular corrosion and pitting, and good resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chloride- and H₂S-containing environments. Approximate mechanical properties of the weld metal are Rp0.2 ≈ 600 MPa and Rm ≈ 750 MPa at 20 °C with about 25 % elongation and impact toughness of around 130 J at 20 °C (50 J at −196 °C), with a hardness of roughly 240 HV. The product is used for pipework and structural fabrications in the chemical, petrochemical and offshore industries and for corrosion-resistant claddings. It is welded with DC electrode positive in MIG (Ar+1–3 % O₂/CO₂ or Ar/He-based mixtures, optionally with H₂) and DC electrode negative in TIG (Ar, He, Ar/He or Ar+2–5 % H₂), and supplied as solid MIG wires in 0.8–1.6 mm on BS-300 15 kg spools and 250 kg drums, and as TIG rods in 1.0–4.0 mm, 1000 mm length, in 5 kg boxes.

    4576 318Si ML 19.12.3 NbSi is a solid stainless steel MIG/MAG and TIG filler metal (EN ISO 14343-A/G 19 12 3 NbSi, mat. no. 1.4576, AWS ER318Si) for welding stabilized and non-stabilized Cr-Ni-Mo and Cr-Ni steels such as 1.4401, 1.4404, 1.4571, 1.4301, 1.4306, 1.4541 and 1.4550 for service temperatures up to about 400 °C. Its low-carbon 18/12/2.6 CrNiMoNb composition (with Nb ≥ 12×C) provides good general corrosion resistance, very good resistance to intergranular corrosion and improved pitting resistance in chloride media. The weld metal offers a balanced property profile with yield strength of around 400 MPa, tensile strength about 610 MPa, ≈35 % elongation and high impact toughness (≈110 J at 20 °C, ≈40 J at −196 °C) at a hardness of roughly 160 HV, making it suitable for tanks, piping, apparatus and structural components in the chemical, petrochemical, food and general plant engineering sectors. The product is used with DC electrode positive in MIG and DC electrode negative in TIG under argon-based shielding gas mixtures and is supplied as solid wire (approx. 1.0–1.2 mm on BS-300 spools) and TIG rods (approx. 1.0–3.2 mm, 1000 mm length, 5 kg packs).

    4842 310 ML 25.20 is a solid stainless steel MIG/MAG and TIG filler metal (EN ISO 14343-A G 25 20, material no. 1.4842, AWS ER310) for welding heat-resistant austenitic CrNi steels and cast steels with high chromium and nickel content, especially for elevated service temperatures. With a typical composition of about 26 % Cr and 20.7 % Ni plus increased Mn, the weld metal offers very good oxidation and scaling resistance up to high temperatures, together with a balanced mechanical properties profile (yield strength around 400 MPa, tensile strength about 610 MPa, elongation ≈ 35 % at 20 °C) and good toughness. Typical applications include furnace and boiler components, high-temperature pipework, heat treatment fixtures and other structures exposed to thermal cycling and oxidation. The product is used with DC electrode positive in MIG/MAG and DC electrode negative in TIG, under suitable inert or mixed shielding gases, and is supplied as solid wires and rods for manual and automated welding.
